Pete White - Faculty Advisor

Pete White is the MSU Triathlon Club faculty advisor. He has completed over 40 triathlons since first getting involved in the sport on a whim in 2016. In his triathlon journey he’s done a little bit of everything β€” from winning the Olympic and Sprint titles at the local Hawk Island Triathlon, to completing an iron-distance race, to getting involved in Michigan wildness triathlons. He helps out the team whenever possible with MSU room bookings, and runs a transition clinic for the team prior to their spring racing season. He is an Associate Professor of Biology and Science/Evolution Education, jointly appointed in Lyman Briggs College and the Department of Entomology. He is a very active parent of three young boys but is always looking for ways to squeeze extra training sessions into his packed schedule.
